Family Literacy Training
Our 1st and 2nd grade teacher Ms Smith is offering training for parents and students each Tuesday, except during vacations to help parents with resources and information they need to become reading experts. Join us for learning and fun! The schedule is on the front door and has been sent home with students.
SBA TESTING in MARCH
All students in grades 3-8 will be taking a computer based form of the Standards Based Assessment, the annual test of student performance in March. Testing will be for two weeks and will begin the week of March 17. It is very important that your child attend school every day during this testing period. The schools performance and grade is based on the outcomes of this test. In addition, the scores of this test are placed in the students cumulative folder that goes with him or her from school to school. We will have a test kick off to help students get geared up for this test. More information will be coming home soon.
